Hi there, just wanted to say that this was a fantastic podcast. Really enjoyed listening to Mike and yourself. Mike is the man! Very pragmatic and wordly wise… really interesting to hear someone demystify the art of music production.
Keep up the great work… look forward to the next (english) based one.
All the best,
Hardeep

Great episode! My personal favorite so far. With Mike explaining what’s going on in the studio, I could almost hear Marillion’s music. Oh wait, I COULD hear Marillion’s music :-)
Keep it up!
Thanks Achim :-)

This was interesting. I have played around with the odd audio editor or two primarily when digitising my vinyls. Many hours spent playing around with the equipment and software. One day I want to do a bit of sound recording out in the wild: birds, insects, trees, water etc.
Mike Hunter has obviously been doing his thing for many years. Spoke plainly and simply in a humble, down-to-earth sort of way.
Merillion sounded a bit like an old favourite group of mine called Wishbone Ash ( http://www.last.fm/music/Wishbone+Ash?ac=wishbone+ash ).
