Rick Ruiz is a pilot for Atlas Air where he flies various versions of the Boeing 747 freighter. Previously he flew the 767 and the 777 for LAN Chile, primarily cargo as well. Rick is also a crew member of the Airline Pilot Guy podcast, where he is known as Miami Rick. In this episode, we stroll through the woods around Landstuhl, Germany, where I visited Rick while he was on a layover. We geek out about flying the Big Boeings.

Thought this might be stressful because of the “walking interview”, but it was great! Thx to Markus and “Miami Rick” for allowing us to participate in their “walk in the woods”!
I was a bit skeptical about this one, first because I never liked the APG podcast, and second because in the intro Markus commented too much on the audio issues. But once it started, I enjoyed it immensely. Not even sure why, but already the different format was refreshing!
Look forward to listening to this w/Miami Rick but I don’t see where I can download it to enjoy on ‘my’ walk in the woods.
